You are what you eat.

There is a believe saying that you are what you eat. Being slim and fit is everyone's dream. For most women even wish for eating all they want, without getting fat (that only happens if you're lucky enough to have the metabolic gene running like bullet train in your body).

For most of human history, people didn't have enough to eat, so fat was something you really needed to seek out. To avoid dying in a famine, the brain is wired to pick up on signs that calorie-rich foods are nearby, which helps explain why that piece of cake on the plate in front of you is so irresistible, or why seeing a sign for a doughnut shop draws you in even when you know you need to watch your diet.

That's rubbish! Temptation are always hard to resist, it never is easy. But, the thing is we can control how our mind works. It just whether or not we have the will power to SAY NO, thinking that giving in is always easiest things to do. There’s a little animal in all of us and maybe that’s something to celebrate. But what sets us apart from the animals is that we can think, feel, and dream - train your brain to crave for healthy foods.

The healthiest way to lose weight is neither crash diets nor bursts of exercises. Watching your diet is the best way to lose weight.

  • Do not eat when you  are not hungry! Boredom and depression can lead to a person to eating things that will lead to weight gain. If you are bored, try reading book, playing a sport, or talking to friends.
  • Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day It curbs hunger, makes you feel better and makes your skin glow!
  • Check food labels. Eat foods that are low in calories (anything below 200 is good) and carbohydrates. Although carbohydrates can help you think better and they fuel the nervous system and power fat metabolism. Eat foods that have vitamins and minerals in them. Protein, fiber, and iron are all good for you.
  • Eat your dinner earlier (in between 4:30 to 7:00) so that you can burn off some of the calories you consumed.
  • Drink real fruit juice not fruit drinks that are loaded with sugar and often contain only a small percentage of fruit juice. Freshly squeezed fruit juice is a better choice than bottled juice. The best choice is to eat a piece of fruit rather than drink the fruit juice. The whole fruit contains fiber which slows down your digestion.
  • Cut down on saturated fats and sugar. Eat your meals according to the food pyramid. The food pyramid gives you the balancing of nutrients needed by your body everyday.

Social Media Revolution

We have to keep reinventing ourselves almost every minute because the world can change in an instant, and there's no time for looking back. Sometimes the changes are forced on us, sometimes they happen by accident, and we make the most of them. We have to constantly come up with new ways to fix ourselves. So we change, we adapt, we create new versions of ourselves. We just need to be sure that this one is an improvement over the last.

We are a lot closer than we think.Wow!

How did the word “FUCK” come from?

In life we are taught that there are seven deadly sins. We all know the big ones... gluttony, pride, lust. But the thing you don't hear much about is anger. Maybe it's because we think anger is not that dangerous, that you can control it. My point is, maybe we don't give anger enough credit. Maybe it can be a lot more dangerous than we think. After all, when it comes to destructive behavior, it did make the top seven.

It's norm for a person to curse F.U.C.K when we're all rage up. We couldn't possibly control our anger wisely all the time. Some even uses the word daily, just for the swag of it. I personally find that really stupid. Why curse for nothing? Showing your anger doesn't mean you're wiser, or powerful that people might bow down to you. Instead that unworthy action just reveal how shallow you are. But do we actually know what does FUCK means or originated from?

Long time ago in England, a couple could not have a sex without a written permission from the king (Except if she/he was a member of the royal family). So if someone wanted to have babies, they will go to the king to ask for a written permission. The king then gave a kind of pass card that must be hung on the bedroom door when they had a sex. The card read “F.U.C.K.” (Fornification Under Consent of the King).

So what makes anger different from the six other deadly sins? It's pretty simple really, you give into a sin like envy or pride and you only hurt yourself. Try lust or coveting and you'll only hurt yourself and one or two others. But anger, anger is the worst... the mother of all sins... Not only can anger drive you over the edge, when it does you can take an awful lot of people with you.

Pasar Malam, I miss you.

E: Hey, where did you get those flip-flops from?

N: Eh? These? Back home. From Malaysia.

E: Is it a local brand? Where did you get it from? A mall back home?

N: Errr. Yeah. From a mall. It's called Pasar Malam.

E: Hmmmm...funny name. Is it big?

N: It is pretty massive, some of it.

E: Some of it?

N: Yeah. I mean, it's a really huge corporation, this Pasar Malam. Way bigger than your network of Asdas and Sainbury's combined. We have Pasar Malams all across the nation. Every single state, city, town, village will have it. Some places have bigger ones that others, that's all.

E: Wow. Incredible. To think that a place like Malaysia will have a franchise that big! Malaysians buy lotsa slippers and shoes huh?

N: Huh? Nono! They don't just sell footwear man. They sell heaps of other things. Depends which branch you go to. Most will sell amongst many other things: fresh produce, fish vege meat you name it. Good food, cooked. Local food hot and cold, Japanese, western. Drinks. Ummm...fruits. Clothes. Cookware. Furniture sometimes. Ummm...the latest DVDs at amazing prices. Sometimes, really rare though, but sometimes, they stock...ummmm....really really cheap LVs, Guccis and Pradas. Everybody goes there. There's bound to be something for everybody. It's indiscriminate.

E: What?!?! Who owns it? He must be rich!

N: Nah. It's not a him.

E: A her?

N: It's....sorta owned by the public.

E: It's...public listed?

N: Ummm...sort of. Everybody owns it.

E: How much is each share worth then?

N: A heart big enough to love everybody, I guess?
