You are what you eat.

There is a believe saying that you are what you eat. Being slim and fit is everyone's dream. For most women even wish for eating all they want, without getting fat (that only happens if you're lucky enough to have the metabolic gene running like bullet train in your body).

For most of human history, people didn't have enough to eat, so fat was something you really needed to seek out. To avoid dying in a famine, the brain is wired to pick up on signs that calorie-rich foods are nearby, which helps explain why that piece of cake on the plate in front of you is so irresistible, or why seeing a sign for a doughnut shop draws you in even when you know you need to watch your diet.

That's rubbish! Temptation are always hard to resist, it never is easy. But, the thing is we can control how our mind works. It just whether or not we have the will power to SAY NO, thinking that giving in is always easiest things to do. There’s a little animal in all of us and maybe that’s something to celebrate. But what sets us apart from the animals is that we can think, feel, and dream - train your brain to crave for healthy foods.

The healthiest way to lose weight is neither crash diets nor bursts of exercises. Watching your diet is the best way to lose weight.

  • Do not eat when you  are not hungry! Boredom and depression can lead to a person to eating things that will lead to weight gain. If you are bored, try reading book, playing a sport, or talking to friends.
  • Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day It curbs hunger, makes you feel better and makes your skin glow!
  • Check food labels. Eat foods that are low in calories (anything below 200 is good) and carbohydrates. Although carbohydrates can help you think better and they fuel the nervous system and power fat metabolism. Eat foods that have vitamins and minerals in them. Protein, fiber, and iron are all good for you.
  • Eat your dinner earlier (in between 4:30 to 7:00) so that you can burn off some of the calories you consumed.
  • Drink real fruit juice not fruit drinks that are loaded with sugar and often contain only a small percentage of fruit juice. Freshly squeezed fruit juice is a better choice than bottled juice. The best choice is to eat a piece of fruit rather than drink the fruit juice. The whole fruit contains fiber which slows down your digestion.
  • Cut down on saturated fats and sugar. Eat your meals according to the food pyramid. The food pyramid gives you the balancing of nutrients needed by your body everyday.

Dream BIG

It's funny because when you're a child, you believe you can be anything you want to be, go wherever you want to go. There are no limits. You expect the unexpected, you believe in magic. Then you grow older and that innocence is shattered. The reality of life gets in the way and you're hit by the realization that you can't be all you wanted to be, that you just might have to settle for a little bit less. Why do we stop believing in ourselves? why do we let the facts and figures and anything but dreams rule our lives?

Sometimes we just have to convince ourselves that nothing is impossible. It was there all the time. We just wasn't reaching out far enough, that's all. 'Nothing is impossible'. Not a bad statement to come from a keyboard of a cynic. But then again, perhaps some things just might be beyond our reach after all.

No More Mr Nice Guy

Have you ever know anybody just too nice? It’s annoying. Then you realize it’s annoying that they reminds you of what you’re not, that you’ll never be as good as they are. And then you think, Why can’t I? And before you know it, that naive idiot you laughed at has made you a better person.

Once, a wise man said..

Woman asks: If I sleep with 3 men, everyone calls me a slut. But when a man sleeps with 8 girls, everyone calls him a real man. How come?

Confucius say: It's very simple. When one lock can be opened by 3 different keys, it's a bad lock. But when one key can open 8 different locks, we call it a master key

Where the Rainbows Ends

"I know it’s hard for other people to understand what he’s like. As you see is an overprotective paranoid mess, but, God, does that make me feel safe and wanted. And his stupidity makes me laugh! We have a long way to go to being perfect couple. We certainly don’t live the fairy-tale marriage, he doesn’t shower me with rose petals and fly me to Paris on weekends, but when I get my hair cut, he notices. When I dress up to go out at night, he compliments me. When I cry, he wipes my tears. When I feel lonely, he makes me feel lived. And who needs Paris, when you can get a hug?"

Green Love

Love makes you stupid, Just like wars, famine, the BP oil spill, we have the attention spans of a mosquito, and we don’t remember what made us unhappy in history. It may be harder the second time around by virtue of the fact that you already know what it feels like for this to happen to you. When you’re in love for the first time it’s the most unbelievable feeling, and the second time you get your heart broken you become a little more guarded. You become a little more sensible about how you throw your emotions around. But here’s the kicker, you do it again, and you do it again, and you do it again.

Pasar Malam, I miss you.

E: Hey, where did you get those flip-flops from?

N: Eh? These? Back home. From Malaysia.

E: Is it a local brand? Where did you get it from? A mall back home?

N: Errr. Yeah. From a mall. It's called Pasar Malam.

E: Hmmmm...funny name. Is it big?

N: It is pretty massive, some of it.

E: Some of it?

N: Yeah. I mean, it's a really huge corporation, this Pasar Malam. Way bigger than your network of Asdas and Sainbury's combined. We have Pasar Malams all across the nation. Every single state, city, town, village will have it. Some places have bigger ones that others, that's all.

E: Wow. Incredible. To think that a place like Malaysia will have a franchise that big! Malaysians buy lotsa slippers and shoes huh?

N: Huh? Nono! They don't just sell footwear man. They sell heaps of other things. Depends which branch you go to. Most will sell amongst many other things: fresh produce, fish vege meat you name it. Good food, cooked. Local food hot and cold, Japanese, western. Drinks. Ummm...fruits. Clothes. Cookware. Furniture sometimes. Ummm...the latest DVDs at amazing prices. Sometimes, really rare though, but sometimes, they stock...ummmm....really really cheap LVs, Guccis and Pradas. Everybody goes there. There's bound to be something for everybody. It's indiscriminate.

E: What?!?! Who owns it? He must be rich!

N: Nah. It's not a him.

E: A her?

N: It's....sorta owned by the public.

E: It's...public listed?

N: Ummm...sort of. Everybody owns it.

E: How much is each share worth then?

N: A heart big enough to love everybody, I guess?

Begin the Begin

Fresh starts thanks to the calendar they happen every year —just set your watch to January, our reward for surviving the holiday season is a new year. Bringing on the great tradition of new years resolutions, put your past behind you and start over.

New year resolutions? Well, I had a few. Quit cursing, quit being a big bully, quit being a jackass..bla bla bla. Honestly, it’s hard to resist the chance of a new beginning, a chance to put the problems of last year to bed. This totally represents all of us whom lack of will power to hold on to our resolutions. Easier said than done.

Dream Out Loud

You know just that kind of thoughts I have in mind, to run your own business a gourmet bakery and sandwich shop where you bake your own pastries-the shop lot located at the junction of the street. Then if it runs long enough and more demand, the little bakery shop will be expand into a catering business or a restaurant. Even this! Operating a stall in a really cool place. Of course this would not be in local, but it's just my desire to travel around. That’s the dream. I am living the dream. And I’m over the moon about it or I would be. I took up the course I’m doing right now for a reason. It’s not just because job wide job scope or whatsoever, but its the dream I’m dreaming. It just can be as real as in the fantasy.

Treasure Yourself

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio with and without make up.

Also without: Their hair professionally done, professional lighting, shadows and angles and the ever present usage of professional digital editing software such as Photoshop.

And guess what…they look normal. Just like any other woman. Unless you get all of the above mentioned perks too, it’s not fair to compare yourself to manipulated photographs of normal looking women.

Use your eyes and see that what you’re killing yourself to look like is fake and manufactured beauty. Those women look just fine without all of the bullshit they do to make them deemed socially sexy… and so do you.

The #104 rule of a lady

Never do something permanently stupid just because you are temporarily upset.
